Obituary
On August 26, 2025, Adrian Johnson, Jr., better known as AJ, took his heavenly flight from a world of pain to eternal rest with the Lord.
Adrian was born on September 22, 2004, to Lynn Rene Stevens and Adrian Lamar Johnson, Sr., in the beautiful city of Miami, Florida. After 16 years of living in Miami, he and his family moved to the great city of Orlando, Florida, where he graduated with the Class of 2023 from Timber Creek High School. At school, AJ was known for his affectionate smile and his resilient attitude. He was loved by many who knew him. AJ loved going to church and praising God. His favorite Bible verse was, 'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.' - Philippians 4: 13.
Despite AJ's diagnosis, he rarely lost his spirit. AJ was always happy and full of life. Even when confined to a hospital bed for extended periods, he joyfully played Fortnite with his little brother and cousins, while listening and singing along to his favorite rapper, Rod Wave.
Our family was not expecting the loss of AJ or for his life to be cut so short, so soon. We are devastated by this loss and will feel the absence of AJ forever. He was the most loving and curious soul, and truly a joy to be around. He will be forever missed.
AJ was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Clyde L. Stevens, and great-grandfather, Robert L. Stevens, as well as his paternal great-grandparents, Gloria Johnson and Clarence Harden.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his beautiful mother, Lynn Stevens; father, Adrian Johnson, Sr.; brothers, Antwan Johnson, Akeem Johnson, and William Davis; and his only sister, Adrianna Johnson. He also leaves behind his wonderful grandparents, Dwayne Stevens, Sr., Lynn Harris-Finch, Joel Jones, Anita Johnson, and Susan Walker. In addition, AJ is survived by his beloved aunts, Arkesha (Jontavious Howard), Ayisha, Antionetta, Ebony, and Monique, and his uncles, Dwayne Jr., Antonio, Eric, and Joel. He also leaves behind a host of extended family, cousins, friends, neighbors, and all whose lives he touched, for AJ had a way of lighting up every room with his love, laughter, and spirit.
