Obituary

Almetta Daniels Greene was born on December 26, 1955, at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, Georgia.

She was raised by both parents, Angie Daniels and Eddie Lee Daniels. They moved to Miami, Florida, in 1962. In 1975, she completed high school at Miami Senior High.

In 1972, she met Richard Greene. The two got married in 1977 and had one beautiful daughter.

Almetta started working at Master Tools in 1980 as a machine operator, where she remained for 36 years until her retirement in 2016.

Almetta loved dancing and singing. She liked traveling. She always had a happy, loving spirit and such a beautiful smile. She enjoyed being a grandmother to her seven grandkids. She loved her family and friends so much. But above all, she loved God.

On August 2, 2023, Almetta was called to be with the Lord. Almetta was preceded in death by her sisters, Pauline Daniels and Linda Conner; brothers, Ricky Daniels and Eddie Lee Daniels, Jr.; and father, Eddie Lee Daniels.

Left to cherish her memory are: mother, Angie Daniels; daughter, Latasha Greene; grandchildren, Deivon Greene, Brandon Greene, Kiyanna Greene, Tayvohn McCloud, Paris Jordan, Devyn Jordan, Santanna Jordan, and grandbaby, Aryanna Greene; sibling, Diane Daniels; nieces, Tiffany Strong, Latisha Strong, Antinonette McCree, Latonya Daniels, and Felisha Hollis; and nephews, Randy Connor and Derrick Conner.
