Obituary

On November 20, 1935, Annie Lue Jones made her entrance into this world in Ocilla, GA. She was an only child to the parents of Annabell Wallace and Willie Benjamin Jones.

She worked as a machine operator at Sheffield located in Miami Gardens, FL for over 30 years using her skills to make pantyhose. In addition to working as a housekeeper on the weekends. She faithfully walked to and from work daily and rarely took a day off. She loved her job and her co-workers loved her!

As we remember Annie today, we remember her as a loving mother and grandmother and a mom to many of the neighborhood children who referred to her as Ms. Ann.

She was an honorable, strong yet simple woman whose presence was valued and respected by many. She took pride in her family, especially in her grandchildren. She was nurturing, yet stern, and she made sure we knew the importance of hard work and dedication. She was the matriarch of our family, the connection to us all and although she will forever be in our hearts, she will be missed.
