Obituary
Antonio Bernard Fannin was born on Monday, July 11, 1983, to Ruby Jean Fannin and Johnny Derek Brown.
Antonio, affectionately known as Bernie, received his formal education within the Miami Dade County public school system. As a young man, Bernie loved participating in intermural sports with his favorite pastime being basketball (“Who can? Tim Dun-can”). Bernie was deemed the favorite uncle by all the kids because of his natural and loving connection with them.
Antonio was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Jean Fannin, and grandfathers, Walter Fannin and Frank Brown.
On January 5, 2025, Antonio transitioned to his eternal
home. He leaves behind to cherish his loving memories: his father, Johnny Brown his devoted grandmothers, Ruby Jurel Washington and Mary Alice Brown; brothers, Johnny Fannin, Xavier (Antanique) Fannin, and Jason Fannin; sisters, Ashante (Wendall) Mitchell and Lisa Torres; cousins, Desmond Sinclair, Latorria Washington, Deondra Fannin, Keondra Fannin, and Torry Washington; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
