Obituary

Arnold Dave Watts, Jr., was born on August 19, 1974, in Miami, Florida, to the late Arnold Watts, Sr., and Linda Diane Taylor. Arnold grew up in a loving home with his parents and late sister, Angela Watts. Arnold was the most humble, respectful, kind, hard-working, devoted husband and father. To those that had the privilege of knowing him, just know your friendship meant the world to him.

Arnold attended Miami Central High School and this was the beginning of his love and passion for football. Arnold would then graduate in 1993. He would move on and continue his love for football at Albany State University. Due to a flood in Georgia, he would then return home.

On June 13, 1998, Arnold would meet his girlfriend, Tabitha Danis. These two were inseparable; they were always together no matter what. Arnold and Tabitha became husband and wife on February 19, 2003. Arnold cherished his little family very much and admired his children very much. Arnold would work multiple jobs to make sure his family were well taken care of. Arnold spoke of his family to everyone that he came in contact with.

Arnold Watts began working as a security officer for 50 State Security and would then move on to Kent Security. Throughout the years, Arnold became family to everyone where he worked he was no longer a security officer. In April 2021, Arnold had to stop working due to his health.

August 12, 2021, was the beginning of his fight. Arnold spent his last six months fighting his battles with his health. God decided it was time for His son to come home and end his pain and suffering. Arnold Watts, we want you to know words cannot begin to describe how you will truly be missed. You will forever be in our hearts.

Arnold leaves behind to cherish his wonderful memories: wife, Tabitha Danis; daughters, Arinicia Watts and Heaven Brown; sons, DeJuan Watts and Arnold Watts III; grandkids, Jessie and Jenisis Mertilus; in-laws, Osveld Sr., Danis, Sr., and Heureuse Danis; brother-in-laws, Osveld Jr. Danis, Jr., and Ronald Danis; sisters-in-law, Marie Danis and Nancy Danis; aunts, Sandra Patterson, Alice and Latreda Hill; uncle, Michael Sumler and family; cousins, Shimeya Brown, Shantelle Edwards, Latesia Whitchard, Calvin Patterson, and Robert Whitchard; and a host of other family and friends.
