Obituary
Aron Virginia Miller-Williams was born on March 19, 1938, in Jackson County, Snead, Florida to Parry L. Miller as her tenth child, who preceded her in death when she was just three years old. At the age of five, Aron moved to Perrine, Florida, with her second eldest sister Ola Mae Merrill. She received her education through the Miami-Dade public school system. After completing her primary education at R. R. Moton, she obtained her high school equivalency and later became a licensed Cosmetologist.
In 1991, Aron accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior, and she regularly attended service at New Jerusalem Primitive Missonary Baptist Church. She loved the Lord, and her mission in life was to see her loved ones grow into strong independent and God-fearing men and women
Aron started her work career as a domestic employee, and after raising her children she changed her career path to doing the work she always loved, which was making young girls and women look beautiful. Aron was passionate about her work and took pride in everything she did.
Aron entered the gates of heaven on December 15, 2024, where she passed peacefully wrapped in our father’s arms. She will be missed dearly in our hearts and memories. Her wish for her family was, “If you can’t remember me with gladness, then don’t remember me at all.”
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, George and Arrie Miller; mother, Parry L. Miller; brothers, George, Willie; sisters, Ola Mae, Arrie, Mary, and Classie; husbands, Span Williams, Jr., and Eddie Wilson.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: eight children, (Mr. James Broadnax, Jr. “Bro”), Leandras Broadnax (Louise), Athens, GA, Albert Charles Broadnax (Pecola), Port St. Lucie, FL, Christine Broadnax, Miami, FL, Juanita Broadnax, Atlanta, GA, Diane Taylor, McDonough, GA, Anthony Broadnax, Miami, FL, Richard Broadnax, Germany, and Brenda Broadnax (Howard), Miami, FL; sister, Elgie Mae, California; niece, Annie Mae Wilson (John), Miami, FL; 20 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
