Obituary
Barbara Johnson-Shephard was born October 23, 1943, to the late parents of Elder Mack Johnson and Mother Geneva Johnson-Nance. She was one of two children. Barbara accepted Christ at a young age. She was a devoted member of first deliverance church of God in Christ until her health begin to fail. She received he education at Miami-dade public schools.
She was a hardworking and dedicated woman throughout her life. She has owned multiple properties and did a lot of the work herself. She worked as a transportation supervisor for Jackson memorial hospital for 35 years. She was a caregiver to her mother until she passed on. She helped raise her five grandchildren after the death of their mother.
Barbara was widely respected as a loving, caring and strong woman. Her three children proceeded her in death Winnerfred Mcclaine, Demetrius Hadley, Vardon Hadley.
Barbara was a beloved daughter mother aunt grandmother sister and friend. She leaves to mourn six grandchildren Gennine Mcclaine, Geneva Nottage, Kimberly Nottage, Michael Mcclaine, Dawn Taylor(Derrick Taylor) Vardon Hadley. One sister-in-law Delores Johnson (James Johnson) God sister Debra Deal God brother Willie Thompkins Special godson Theodis Kendrick and Calvin Grey. 14 Great grand kids and host of nieces and nephews and cousins.
