Obituary

Billy Howard Johnson, Sr. affectionately known as “Chi-Town”, was born in Chicago, Illinois, on August 2, 1958, to Annie Johnson. He was the third-born of six sons.

He completed his early education in the Cook County School District, graduating from Creiger Vocational Technical School in 1976. After graduating he work various jobs until he decided to serve his Country and joined the Army branch of the Military in 1983 as an Army Reservist until 1989 when he was honorably discharged. Bill then began working for American Airlines in 1988 as a Fleet Service Clerk until his retirement on April 4, 2023, after 34 years of service. Later in his career with American Airlines, he decided to relocate to Miami, Florida, and in 2001 he met his life partner, Sharon. Bill had many hobbies such as fishing, playing billiards, and he was an avid motorcycle rider. He was a former member of The Family Riders of Perrine, Florida, and The Flaming Knights MC of Miami and Ft. Pierce Chapters. In his retirement his passion was raising fish in his multiple aquariums.

Bill was proud of the personal relationship he had with God.

In September of 2023, he joined The Healing House Ministries under the leadership of Pastors Michael and Kim Holmes. On November 12, 2023, Bill professed his sins, gave his life to Christ and he was baptized in the name of the Father.
