Obituary
Booker Terry Davis, Jr. was born in Miami, Florida, on November 16, 1964. He was the son of the late Booker Terry Davis, Sr., and Margaret Ann Davis.
Booker was baptized at St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church in Sanford, Florida, where he accepted the Lord as his savior at an early age. Later in his life, he attended ***** in NY, NY, where he rededicated his life to the Lord. He attended elementary, junior high, and high school in Seminole County Public Schools. Booker faced significant challenges earlier in life, but through it all, he remained committed to his education and personal growth. He later became a dynamic public speaker and counselor, dedicating his time to guiding troubled youth and adults.
Terry deeply loved his family and cherished attending family gatherings, where he both embraced and shared that love. He had a joyful spirit, loved to laugh, and was generous in his giving. He especially treasured time spent with his host of nieces and nephews – they brought him immense joy.
Terry departed this life on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, in Manhattan, NY. He was preceded in death by his father, Booker Terry Davis, Sr., and sister, Brelove Sykes.
Family he leaves behind to cherish his memories includes his mother, Margaret Davis, Sanford, Florida; sisters: Renee Davis Hartsfield, Donna Davis, Shirley Davis of Sanford, FL; Sabrina Davis-Fuller (Johnny), Lithonia, GA; Shearrine Diaz-Maya (Diego) of NJ; Shana Brown (Eddie), Tamara Davis, and Mona Davis of Miami, FL; Brothers: Calvin Davis (Kimberly) of Sanford, FL; Terry Davis (Lashelle) of GA, and Yuri Davis of Miami, FL.; Host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
