Obituary
Brenda Fay Mitchell, of Miami, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was a devoted wife to David Lee Mitchell, Sr., a loving mother, cherished grandmother,
and a dear sister and friend to many.
Born on May 17,1970, in Statesboro Bulloch County, Georgia, Brenda was the beloved daughter of Ethel Mae Roberts and James Larry. She grew up with strong family values that she carried throughout her life, always putting love, kindness, and faith at the center of everything she did.
She is survived by her two sons, Brian Mitchell and David Mitchell, Jr.; and daughter, Mamie Mitchell, who were the center of her life. Brenda was also a proud and devoted grandmother to three grandchildren, Levi Mitchell, Briarie Mitchell, and Kehlani Bias, who brought her immense happiness and pride. She is lovingly remembered by her three siblings, Ethel Paxton, Lisa Barton and James Larry; as well as a host of nieces and
nephews who will continue to carry her memory in their hearts.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her kindness, strength, and love will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
