Obituary
Charlie Harold Graham was born on July 16, 1959, to the late Harold and Clara Graham in Hollywood, Florida. God saw fit on Sunday, November 12, 2023, to call his son home.
Charlie at a youthful age attended public school in the Boward school system and graduated from McArthur High School. Charlie was employed by the Performance Food Group Company and retired in October of 2021.
In 1981, he met the love of his life at Roller Tech Skating Rink in Miami and was united in holy matrimony to the former Sandra Pennyman, and to this union, one daughter was born. They spent thirty-eight wonderful years married.
Charlie was outgoing, caring, and always willing to help anyone in need. Especially the elderly and his neighbors. His smile was infectious. Every path crossed in his life brought respect, laughter, and joy. He enjoyed fishing, softball, and skating. Photography was another one of his many talents that captured many weddings, parties, graduations, and church functions. Charlie was also a pet lover and would do anything for his loyal dogs, Melo and Aaliyah.
Charlie's life would seem too short to many; however, those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lived.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Clara and Harold Graham; brother, Charles E. Graham; mother-in-law, Johnnie Mae; father-in-law, Willie Pennyman; sisters-in-law, Shirley, Cathy, and Gloria; and brothers-in-law, Robert and Ernest.
Charlie's memory will live on with his wife, Sandra Graham; only daughter, Shemire (Tavarias) Bruce; he leaves a legacy of love to his seven grandchildren, Nyashia, Alexis, Tavarias Jr., Javarias, Londen, Tyler, and Taylor; one great-granddaughter, Arianna; siblings, Alma Burrows of Hallandale, Willie (Pricilla) Graham of Hollywood, Shirley (Ned) Gilmore of Hallandale, Carnell Graham of Hollywood, Roney Graham of Pompano, and Sister Pinky Graham of Fort Lauderdale; he will forever be remembered by special in-laws, Allen, Lorenda (Aundrai), Willie Jr. (Bridgette), Lisa, and Benoris (Maggie); godsister, Annie of Hollywood; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, neighbors, and special friends who were like brothers; and a special place in his heart was devoted to his softball friends who also became family over the years.
