Obituary

Charlie Mae Adams was born on January 18, 1947, in Montezuma, Georgia, to the late Charlie Lee Adams and Lethia Mae Adams.

At an early age, Charlie Mae relocated with her family to Miami, Florida, where she was educated in the Miami-Dade Public School System. She later graduated from Mays High School. Following her education, she began a dedicated career with Miami-Dade Water and Sewer, where she faithfully served for 29 years before retiring.

Charlie Mae shared a loving and devoted relationship with Andrew Collins. The two built a life together filled with companionship and joy until his passing in May 2004.

She found happiness in the simple pleasures of life, especially shopping and creating wigs, a craft she truly enjoyed.

Charlie Mae’s loving spirit and cherished memories will forever remain in our hearts.

She leaves to mourn her passing: her son, Jeffery Allen Jackson; her three sisters, Bobby, Gail, and Tangela; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
