Obituary
Charlie Wilson, Jr., fondly known as “Uncle Charlie”, was born October 8th, 1942, to the late Alyne Clark and Charlie Wilson, Sr., in Bessemer, Alabama. In 1961, Uncle Charlie graduated from Ely High School and began his journey on to adulthood that led him to Miami, Florida, where he was reunited with his older brothers. Shortly after, Uncle Charlie met and married Betty Wilson. Throughout 42 years of marriage together they raised seven children.
A time to die
During Uncle Charlie’s time of sickness God called him to rest on January 3rd, 2024, at 10:20 a.m. The memories we have of him will forever be dear in our hearts.
A time to mourn
He leaves to cherish his memories: a wife, Betty Wilson; daughters, Kirby Wilson, Lashawnie, Ivy, and Latrina Lamply; sons, Roy, Corey Wilson, and Jack Lampley; brother, Willie Barnett (Pinkie); and a host of grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
