Obituary
We celebrate the life of Christopher James Green, affectionately known as Chris, who was born on February 17, 1978, in Miami, Florida. Raised in a proud Jamaican household, Chris carried the values of family, resilience, and hard work with him throughout his life.
Chris graduated from Hialeah Miami Lakes High School and discovered his passion early in life. If it had a motor, he loved it. Cars, motorcycles, engines... anything that moved fascinated him. That passion became his life's work, leading him to a career dedicated to mechanics, where his skill, curiosity, and love for the craft were evident to everyone who knew him.
Chris was known for his unforgettable Colgate smile, one he wore proudly. His infectious energy could brighten any room, and his quick wit and sense of humor kept those around him laughing. He was an exceptional listener who always seemed to know the right thing to say. Chris had an incredibly inquisitive mind. He loved learning how things worked, questioned everything, and was always searching for understanding and knowledge. His curiosity was simply a part of who he was.
Above all else, Chris loved his family. He shared a special bond with his mother, Joyce, whom he loved and protected wholeheartedly. His love and loyalty to those closest to him were unwavering.
Chris leaves behind a legacy of love through his beloved mother, Joyce; sons, Kiondre Gonzalez and Christopher "CJ" Green; siblings, Julet, Sharon, Diane, Patrick, Lola, Solis and James; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure the memories they shared with him.
Although Chris's time with us was far too short, the impact he made will live on through every smile he inspired, every laugh he created, and every life he touched.
He will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
