Obituary
CURTIS STEWART HALL was born November 3, 1958, to the late Charles and Louvenia Hall at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami, Florida. Curtis was the eldest of their two
children and was their only son.
Curtis was educated in Dade County public schools, where he was a member of the Miami Central Senior High School graduating class of 1976.
Curtis made many lasting friendships in high school and throughout his life. He was known by many for being a sharp dresser, witty, and an overall “cool-dude.” Upon graduating, Curtis made a career for himself as a railroad mechanic with CSX/Amtrak for 25 years until his retirement.
Curtis became a member of True Vine Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Charles Mitchell in 2016, where he was a faithful member. He could frequently be overheard praying for his children and grandchildren from his room.
On the Monday morning of September 11, 2023, Curtis received the call from heaven to come for his eternal rest. Curtis was a loving son, brother, father, and grandfather who loved the Lord.
Curtis leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Louvenia; sister, Delores “Annette” Hall; children, Cureene Benefield (Raymond), Cristal Hall, Kia Hall, Curtis Bouyer, and Ciara
Hall; grandchildren, Jared Rhames, Reagan Benefield, Kennedy Benefield, Bria Narcisse, Dallas Narcisse, Kai Miles, Kory Miles, Kyro Miles, and Courtney Bouyer; and he also
leaves a host of other family and friends.
