Obituary

Cynthia A. Brown was born on May 12, 1971, in Miami, FL, to J.D. Anderson and Sylvia Campbell-Anderson. She was the only child born to the union but she was the youngest of five children. She was preceded in death by her three older brothers, Stephen L. Carroll (three days old), Barry V. Carroll in 2011, and Vaughn W. Carroll in 2021.

Cynthia, fondly known as C.C., began her education at Golden Glades Elementary School in Miami Gardens, FL. She graduated from Paladin Academy in Hollywood, FL.

On August 19, 1993, Cynthia was joined in holy matrimony to Gino Brown, Sr. To this union two children were born, Kristina Brown and Gino Brown, Jr. The union did not last, but she was a proud mother who was excitedly anticipating the birth of her first grandchild, Sabrina Biele Brown, scheduled to be born on May 23rd.

In earlier years, Cynthia was full of fun and was always ready to laugh with family and friends. Cynthia had an outgoing personality and was an avid sports fan, from the NFL, NBA, to Little League. She was introduced to wrestling by her dad. She supported her son and nephews in football; her daughter, son and great-nephew in basketball, and attended as many of their games as she could. She also supported her son and daughter in track and field. The Miami Heat was her favorite basketball team. She was ready to talk about these sports with anyone she met.

Her passion was to assist people with mental and physical challenges. She was employed at a handicap facility for a period of time. But, as the years went by, she suffered through much pain and sickness. On May 14th, God said it’s time to rest and called C.C. home.

She leaves to mourn her passing: her mother, Sylvia C. Moore; her father, J.D. Anderson; her daughter, Kristina Brown (Sierra); her son, Gino Brown, Jr. (Celena); her sister, Leslie Bloodsaw (Anthony); two nephews, Andrew Bloodsaw (Mary) and Hershell Carroll (Eboni); two great-nephews, Andrew Bloodsaw, Jr., and Clive; two great-nieces, Essence and Trinitee; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
