Obituary
Daniel Stoball was born on September 20, 1950, in Miami, Florida, to the late Ruben Stoball and Alma Alridge. He completed high school and spent his career in the construction and roofing industry until health issues prompted his retirement.
Daniel approached life with a straightforward mindset. Despite facing challenges, he made the most of what he had. His greatest joys came from intimate moments and conversations with his grandchildren, often filled with laughter thanks to his wonderful sense of humor. A keen observer, he spoke little but had a deep understanding of the world around him.
Daniel is remembered fondly by his loving family, which includes: seven stepchildren, Charles Rice (Lawanda), David Rice, Howard Rice (Bettie), Alvin Rice, Gurlie Rice (Phyllis), Robert Rice, and Teresa Dixon (Greg); siblings, Mae Harper, James (Mary) Tatum from Moultrie, GA, Sue Tolliver from Columbia, SC, Doug (Betty) Tatum from Union City, CA, and Bogan Mason from Americus, GA, as well as his sister-in-law, Jo Ann Stovall; twenty-two cherished grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; A special friend, Ms. Lila Lyes; along with countless other family members and friends.
As we mourn, we also find solace in the thought of him reunited with his longtime companion Ionia Rice in heaven. As he has efficiently shared with family “When it’s my time Onia will be waiting for me in heaven laughing”!
