Obituary
Darerlee Sinclair was born on January 7, 1948, in Mines, Landover, Jamaica, West Indies, to Mr. and Mrs. Sinclair. Her childhood rearing and education took place in Spanish Town and Kingston, Jamaica.
Darerlee later relocated to North Miami Beach, Florida, where she worked hard and built a successful career, continuing her path of dedicated service. She was a school teacher, private nurse, and home economics teacher, demonstrating a passion for caring, nurturing, and giving to others.
In her later years, Darerlee pursued teaching the word of GOD, becoming the founder and builder of Noah’s Ark Prayer Room Apostolic Church and Noah’s Ark Community Outreach Center.
Mother, Teacher, Giver, and Nurturer Darerlee Sinclair was an extraordinary, Holy Ghost-filled woman of God, with deep faith and unwavering love. Darerlee's life was marked by her selfless service and giving to others.
She led a mission that provided weekly meals at her church, feeding countless homeless individuals and families, clothing those in need here and in Jamaica, and housing the homeless. Because of her strong belief and dedication to GOD, she introduced many people to Christ by teaching, prayer, fasting, and interceding for their souls. Her dedication to others made an impact on countless lives.
A passionate gardener, Darerlee loved planting flowers and vegetables, nurturing life in all its forms, and visiting the beach, even though she could not swim. She was devoted to fulfilling her divine assignment according to the word of GOD to give and love others. Darerlee was not perfect in any means, but until the end, she strived to live up to the word of GOD. Darerlee loved reading and studying her Bible and loved the Lord Jesus with all her heart and soul. Her love for the Lord and people was evident in everything she did.
On the afternoon of January 27, 2025, at 11:46 AM, God called her to sleep.
Darerlee was a beloved woman of God, mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to the friendless. She leaves to mourn: her two sons, Kirk Kelly and Orville Sinclair; two daughters, Andrea Sinclair-Sewell and Shellian Clark; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, brothers, sisters, cousins, other family members, and friends in the United States of America, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Germany, and England (that we know of).
Her legacy of love, faith, helping others, as well as her continuous giving to many of her time, resources, and service to her community we pray will not be forgotten. But most of all, we pray she earns eternal life with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Darerlee will be dearly missed by all who were touched by her life.
