Obituary
Davis Stevenson Paul, Sr., was born on March 31, 1961, in Linden Guyana to Rose Torrence and Clemence Norbert Paul.
At six months of age, Davis moved with his family to Grenada. There, he attended Crochu Roman Catholic School. After graduating, he went on to move to Miami, Florida where he later became an employee of Miami Dade County Parks and Recreation. He also became an employee of Miami International Airport. He worked as a carpenter for several years before retiring.
Never too tired to lift another’s burdens, never too sick to bring healing and comfort, never too busy to devote time to someone else, Davis Paul, Sr., was an amazing father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend. He was a shining light of kindness, wisdom, and laughs from the heart and soul. He was a hardworking man that could make anyone and everyone his best friend in a matter of minutes. He was full of love and encouragement for all those around him. He was the kind of person who would always listen when you truly needed a shoulder to cry on and give advice for almost any problem you were facing.
Davis leaves to cherish his memory his five loving children Laqawanza, Davis, Jr., Lorenzo, Shantay, and Dexter; three grandchildren, Lauren, Camille, and Davis, Jr.; eight of his siblings Tony, Joan, Joyce, Wilfred, Elvis, Lorna, Dian, and Stacy; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
