Donald Moses Cleare was born a full life on March 30, 1952, in Miami, Florida.
Donald was the second child of five from his siblings. Donald attended various schools in Miami Dade County, including Brunch Park Elementary, where he was his grade level’s Spelling Bee champ; Holy Redeemer School, where he was very athletic, playing basketball; Monsignor Edward Pace A/B, where heenjoyed track and field; Carol City High School, as a champ of the wrestling team. Donald love Math and enjoyed his friends in school. He went to St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, where he loved attending church and praying with loved ones. If you knew Donald, he was never going to be LATE for anyone, a very gracious, giving, and independent person. Donald was a PRIDE RATTLER at FAMU AND DID NOT MISS ANY CLASSIC GAMES!! In his early years of employment, he was a P.E. instructor within Miami Dade County school board. He prided himself on always working hard and helping others as much as he could. Although he was not married with children, he had a lot of love for others!! Donald enjoyed his life and loved his family dearly. He left a lasting impression on everyone as a truly good man.
On Sunday evening, March 16, 2025, God called an angel home, for his work here on Earth was done. He will be missed for willingness to give and help others. Donald leaves behind a legacy of hard work, integrity, and quiet perseverance, traits that will continue to inspire and guide us in his absence. Though he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will forever on in the hearts and memories of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Myrtis Theresa Cleare and Donald Moses Cleare, Sr., and his brother, Vincent Leroy Cleare.
