Obituary

Eddie Lewis Youngblood was born on May 16, 1947, in Miami, Florida to Eddie Youngblood and Ruby Jinks-Youngblood he grew up in the Miami area and attended Miami Dade County Public Schools and Graduated from Miami Northwestern Senior High School. 
 
After graduating high school Eddie joined the United States Army and served his country from 1965 until 1968. After being discharged, he found employment with International Longshoremen and later worked as a cook. Eddie was a member of the St. Mark # 68 International Masonic Lodge where he served faithfully in different positions.
 
Eddie enjoyed cooking and reading while listening to music, and watching  the news on tv.  
 
Eddie met Marty Thomas in 2005, and they began seeing after each other’s well-being.
 
On Tuesday January 21, 2025 Eddie Lewis Youngblood book of life ended. Eddie answered the voice of the Lord and took his rest.
 
Leaving to cherish his memories his companion Marty Thomas, son Eddie Youngblood Jr. daughter Allison Youngblood, uncle Charles Jinks, close friend Charlene Dixon and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
