Obituary
Edna Denson was born on December 26, 1950, in Bessemer, Alabama, to Lucious Benson and Ardella Rose.
Edna spent the earlier parts of her life in Alabama. Edna was the youngest out of four siblings, Essie, Katie, and Lilly Mae.
Edna and her mother moved to Miami, Florida. Edna attended school in Miami Dade County, and graduated from Jackson Senior High School.
Enda met and married Eddie Denson and from that union, four children were born: Bridget, Terrell, Cedric, and Edrica. Edna was a devoted wife and mother.
Edna worked in the Dade County school system for many years as a bus aid and teacher’s aid. After she left the school system, she worked as a security guard.
Hobbies of Edna’s were: reading various books, especially the Bible, as she was well versed in the scriptures, crossword puzzles, taking walks, and browsing the Red, White, and Blue Thrift Shop.
Edna cooked delicious meals for her family and she enjoyed her children. Her nieces and nephews spent time sitting with her on the porch, where she would tell them about the history of the family. Edna is going to join her husband, Eddie. She will be missed by many.
She leaves behind: four children, Bridget A. Denson, Terryll R. Denson, Cedric S. Denson, and Edrica M. Denson; five grandkids, Nehemiah Denson, Kendrick White, K’vianai Denson, T’niyah Denson, and Antron McNeil; and a host of other family members, friends, and loved ones.
