Obituary
Frances Marie “Tilly” Wyche was born on December18, 1952 to the late Irene Wyche McKenzie and Benjamin Vincent in Lake Harbor, Florida. She was the youngest of two loving and devoted daughters.
Frances attended elementary school in South Bay, Florida. In 1958 the family relocated to Miami, Florida, where Frances continued her education with the Miami-Dade Public School system and graduated from Dorsey High School.
She was employed by Mount Sinai Hospital for several years as an Environment Services Supervisor until her health prevented her from laboring in the occupation.
Frances joined the Christian Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in 1978, under the leadership of the late Pastors C. Felder and Charles E. Coleman and currently served under Rev. Benjamin H. Parrott Sr. She served faithfully as an Usher with the Usher Board #1 and was adamant about fulfilling her role and duties, despite any physical limitations.
Known to many as “Tilly”, she was an energetic, vibrant, outspoken and devoted Mother, Daughter, Sister and Aunt. Tilly enjoyed football and was a die-hard Miami Dolphins fan. She was outgoing and always enjoyed having a good time at cookouts/parties, sport gatherings and family reunions. Although she only had one child, a niece and a few nephews, she was affectionally called “Mom” and “Auntie” by many of their friends and extended associates. She opened her heart and home to many during difficult transitions of their life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Sister, Sandra Wyche Edwards and loyal puppy, Jasper Junior.
Frances leaves to cherish her memory, her Son, Louis E. Williams Jr., Grandchildren: Rashad Hall, Brandi Williams and Lornice Williams, Uncle: Elliot “Yank” Wyche (Mae Lou), Niece: LaShon Wyche-Cleare (Floyd), Nephews: Kenneth Wyche (Tawanda), James Ezell Edwards, Jr. (Kristy) and Michael Davis (Emma); Great-nieces: Tahtiana Evans, KeShondra Davis and Jade Davis, Great-nephews: Kenneth Walker, Frederick Davis, Malik Davis and Christian Davis and a host of cousins and friends.
