Obituary

Frederick Douglas Dennis was born on November 22, 1962, in Miami, Florida, to Annetta Griffin Dennis and John Livingston Dennis. He received his early education at Rainbow Park and Opa-Locka Elementary followed by North Dade Junior High then on to Hialeah-Miami Lakes, Sr., where he played football. Fred started working as soon as he knew he could be paid money for working. Fred loved to make money to care for family and friends. Fred loved to make you laugh; he brought joy to all he met.

He leaves to mourn: his son, Derrick Jackson; loving daughters, Alexandra Frederick Dennis, Tonesha Smith, and Fitz Sandra White; seven grandchildren, Dereyhna Jackson, Tania Drayton, Ja’Niyah Chery, Sa’Maji Monestime, Tylar Gaiter, Tionne Prinsca, and Zhuri Gaiter; he also leaves two brothers, John Livingston Dennis and Rodney Dennis; sister, Veronica Griffin James (Noel); aunt, Nevell Griffin; niece, Lachell Dennis; nephews, Dabari Griffin, Damon Henderson, and Dexter Henry; and a host of other sorrowing family and friends.
