Obituary
Ga’Najah Aramani Moore was born on January 12, 2005, in Miramar, Florida, to her parents, Amber Larkins and Michael Moore, Jr. She was a true blessing, becoming the first child, granddaughter, and niece in her family—a role she filled with pride and joy, bringing boundless love to those around her.
Ga’Najah was a student at American Senior High School, graduating June of 2024. Preceding her passing, she was a student at Miami Dade College pursuing her degree in criminal justice. She aspired to make a lasting impact by becoming a federal agent for the FBI—a goal that spoke to her strong sense of purpose and determination.
She found joy in the simple yet meaningful moments in life, cherishing every opportunity to spend time with her family, whom she loved deeply. Beyond school, she embraced her passions, finding joy in shoe collecting as a proud sneakerhead and spending cherished moments with her adopted child, Ash the rabbit.
She loved listening to music, immersing herself in her favorite movies and TV shows, and sharing laughter and fun while playing video games with her brother. These simple yet profound joys reflected her vibrant spirit and the love she had for the world around her. She also cherished family game nights, where he competitive spirit and sharp wit made her a force to be reckoned with—especially when playing Exploding Kittens.
Ga’Najah’s adventurous spirit was inspired by her aunt, sparking her dream of traveling. In 2024, she proudly acquired her passport and embraced every opportunity to explore. Within the United States, with her family she visited Los Angeles, New York City, Nashville, Raleigh, Charlotte, Montgomery, Washington, D. C., and Chicago. Recently, she embarked on a memorable family cruise, traveling to the Bahamas, Grand Turks, and the Dominican Republic. She often spoke of her hope to one day see snow and fulfill her dream of traveling to Paris.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and treasured memories. Ga’Najah is survived by her mother, Amber Larkins; father, Michael Moore, Jr.; stepfather, Nathaniel R. Nelson; brothers, Nathaniel Nelson, Jr., and Dash Moore; sisters, Akime Moore and Ma’Kaiyah Moore; grandmothers, Rosezina Jackson and Roberta Leblanc; step-grandmother, Latasha Nelson; grandfathers, Jeffrey Larkins and Michael Moore; aunts, Aspen Larkins, Allana Peeples, Remee Larkins, Aaliyah Larkins, Cree Larkins, Akira Larkins, and Ashley Moore; uncles, Johnny Peeples, Robert Moore, Jeffrey Larkins, and Kenzy Brown; along with a host of grandaunts and uncles, cousins, and beloved friends.
Her radiant smile, kind heart, and lively spirit touched everyone she met. Though her time with us was far too short, Ga’Najah’s legacy of love and joy will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who loved her.
She will be deeply missed physically, but her spirit will live with us forever.
