Obituary
On October 5, 1959, Gary was born to the late Geraldine Bennett. At an early age he accepted Christ. He was baptized at First Baptist Church of Brownsville under the leadership of Reverend James. He spent his early years in the Allapattah and Brownsville neighborhoods, where he received his education from Miami Jackson Senior High. He worked for the City of Miami as a sanitation worker for many years. He was an all-around athlete who enjoyed playing and watching sports. He also coached little league football. He was an avid lover of music. Gary was an entrepreneur, excelling as a disc jockey as well as automobile detailing. Some called him “Quazo” but most affectionately called him
“Sweetness”.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his children, Tia Solomon, Gary Williams, Quantell Williams, Randy Williams (Breanna), Steven Jones, Shavelle Williams, Sequoria Pierce, and Marissa Scott; a host of grandchildren; sister, lngrith Smith; aunt, Patricia Moore; nephews, Jovan Smith (Nicole) and Odarrius Smith; and other sorrowing family and friends.
