Obituary

Irmagene Peterson Brown was born in Hamilton County, Florida (Claridyville), to the late Eugene and Sylvester Peterson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Brown, Jr., sister, Lucille Curry, brothers, Marvin and Leroy Peterson, grandson, David Hilbert (Daina), and granddaughter, Charnesia Brown.

In loving memory of Irmagene Peterson Brown, a cherished soul who graced this world with her presence. Born in the serene county of Hamilton, Florida, specifically Claridyville, she held the honor of being the second eldest among her four siblings.

In the year 1956, destiny led her to Miami, Florida, where she encountered the love of her life, the late Louis Brown, Jr. Together, they embarked on a remarkable journey, establishing the renowned “Brown’s BBQ Restaurant,” a cherished establishment known for its soulful and delectable cuisine.

Irmagene’s life was adorned with numerous accomplishments, but her true pride radiated from her devotion to her family. She embraced the role of nurturing and shaping the lives of her loved ones with unparalleled warmth and affection.

Today, as we bid farewell to this extraordinary woman, let us remember Irmagene Peterson Brown for her unwavering love, her dedication to her family, and the indelible mark she left on the lives she touched. May her memory continue to inspire and guide us, reminding us of the power of love and the importance of cherishing our loved ones.
