Obituary

Isaiah Emanuel Daray, affectionally called "Boobie," was born to Octavia and Joseph on March 3, 1993, in Miami, Florida. He attended Santa Clara Elementary, Allapattah Middle, and Miami Jackson Senior High School. He furthered his education by attending Miami Dade College, where he received an Associate of Arts degree. Isaiah later became a certified electrician.

Isaiah married Channel Dixon, and through this loving relationship, five children were born, Isaiah, SaCarra, Isaac, Inaya, and Isaiah Jr. (who preceded him in death). His children were the pride and joy of his life. He was a phenomenal father and loved his family very much. His nurturing presence will remain etched in his children’s hearts.

Isaiah brought warmth and laughter into the lives of so many. We reflect upon Isaiah’s extraordinary life after his heartbreaking departure. His humility and boundless love radiated like a beacon, leaving an indelible mark on the entire community. Isaiah’s compassionate spirit and unwavering kindness formed a halo of light that touched the lives of everyone he encountered.

As we navigate through the somber days ahead, we seek solace in the memories of Isaiah’s vibrant spirit, the love he shared, and the impact he made on those around him. Let us join hands in celebrating a life well-lived and honoring the legacy of a remarkable man who left us too soon. May Isaiah Emanuel Daray rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love he so generously gave during his time among us.

Isaiah is survived by his beloved wife, Channel, a testament to the enduring love that enriched his days: four cherished children, Isaiah, SaCarra, Isaac, and Inaya; he is also survived by his mother, Octavia; stepfather, Jerome; father, Joseph; stepmother, Mary; Isaiah’s extended family includes his mother-in-law, Vale; late brother, Willie IV; sisters, Shaday (Tonya), Shandy (children, Sarenidy, Ti’Mya, and Tremaine), Samone (Lawrence) (children, Samaria, Zion, and Nicholas), and Ashley (children, Elijah and Amari); along with six stepsisters. Isaiah’s familial tapestry extends to his grandmother, Johnnie Mae, and grandmother-in-law, Shirley. He is remembered by his aunts, DayShena (Larry) (child, Desmond) and Josephine; uncle, Wayne (children, Wayne Jr. and Whitney); and a host of other family and friends.
