Obituary

Jacqueline Thrash Glaster was born in Fitzgerald, Georgia, on May 3, 1946. She was born to the late Ms. Alberta Thrash and Mr. Jasper Perkins. “Jackie”, as she was affectionately called, was married to the late Mr. Elijah Glaster of Miami, Florida. She worked for ABC Distributors and Bassin Warehouse in Miami, Florida, from which she later retired. God called her home on Saturday, June 8, 2024. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ms. Alberta Thrash; father, Mr. Jasper Perkins; husband, Mr. Elijah Glaster; son, Mr. Bruce Lee Williams; two brothers, Danny Lee Thrash and Bobby Lee Thrash; and three sisters, Ms. Daisy Bell Bryant, Ms. Essie Lee Chappell, and Ms. Viola Williams.
 
Jackie leaves to cherish her memories: two sisters, Ms. Dorothy Bank and Gwendolyn Thrash of Macon, GA; two brothers, Mr. Tommy (Sharon) Thrash of Thomaston, GA, and Mr. Nathaniel Thrash of Macon, GA; two loving daughters, Mrs. Selina (Alfred) James and Dionisia Whitfield; and three sons, Mr. Donald (Silvia) Vamper, Ronald Vamper, and Eddie Williams III, all of Miami, FL.
 
Jackie had a host of sixteen grandchildren, great-grands, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
