Obituary
Time to be Born
James Marvin Harris was born on March 31, 1939, in Valdosta, Georgia, to George and Lessie Harris.
Time to Grow
James spent his adolescent and young adult years in Valdosta, Georgia. He was loved by many. He decided he wanted a change and moved to South Florida in the early sixties, where he quickly adapted to a new way of life.
Time to Serve
James confessed Christ as a child. He later joined First Deliverance Fellowship Church in 2006, where he served as first gentleman, until his passing.
Time to Love
In July 2008, James and Emily exchanged marriage vows. James and Emily lived and loved for fifteen years, until James’ passing.
Time to Die
James fought a good fight, he kept the faith, in the quietness and still of August 24, 2024. He slipped away from his loved ones and the troubles of this world.
Time to Mourn
He leaves to cherish fond memories: his wife, Emily Harris; sons, Adrian Everett (Tometra), Alvin Jackson, Jr., and Kori Jackson; the First Deliverance Fellowship Church; and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends.
