Jeffrey Emanuel Hill was born on January 20, 1955, in Miami, Florida. Jeffrey was the beloved son of Francina Hill and Jessie B. Hill. His life was one of service, love, and unwavering dedication to his family and community.

 

From Miami Northwestern Senior High School, where he developed a strong sense of community and forged lifelong friendships. After high school, he pursued his passion for aviation by attending Bakers Aviation School. In July 1973, Jeffrey answered the call to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Air Force. During his distinguished military career, which spanned over a decade, he served honorably until February 1984, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. His time in the Air Force was marked by discipline, leadership, and a deep commitment to duty.

 

After his military service, Jeffrey transitioned to a few other careers ending with the United States Postal Service, where he continued to exemplify hard work and dedication. His warm demeanor and strong work ethic made a lasting impression on his colleagues and community.

Jeffrey’s personal life was marked by love and devotion. He was blessed with two children from his first marriage, whom he cherished and loved dearly. Later, Jeffrey found his soulmate in Sandra Hill, with whom he shared a beautiful marriage of 33 years and was blessed with six bonus children. Together, they built a life filled with love, partnership, countless cherished memories and unwavering support for one another.

Jeffrey will be remembered for his sharp wit, warm smile, and generous spirit. He had an incredible ability to connect with others, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

 

On December 13, 2024, Jeffery transitioned from his earthly home to his heavenly home. He is preceded in death by his father, Jessie B. Hill.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Sandra Hill; beloved children, Aneisha (Richard) Daniel, Darneisha Bryant (Tae), Latarsha (John) Johnson, Darleisha Bryant-James (Nelson), Irech Hill Souaia, Kimberly (Rodney) Kohn, Jeffrey Jr. (Jennifer) Hill, and Ronnie (Valencia) Stevens; 32 grandchildren, Richard, De’Andre, Rashad, Antoinette, Alexus, Duane (DJ), John Jr., Jawon, Latrice, Jaylen, Latavia, Cleophus, Antwaneik, Iscah, Anastashia, Harlum, Austin, Mason, Isaiah, Lynn, Ronniesha, Ronnie Jr., Ashley, Ronnie Jr.(MJ), Ronnell, Ronn’a, Kierra, Laronda, Quiyana, Rodney Jr., Jakaria, and Briana; and 24 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his mom, Francina Hill, and siblings, Helena (Clarence) Ferguson, Belinda Hill-Burton, Terry Hill and Tyrone Hill. He also leaves to mourn a host of cousins and many friends who will forever treasure his memory.
