Obituary
Jerome Edward Roulhac, fondly known as “Uncle G” or “Thugo” by family, schoolmates, and friends. He was born at Mt. Sina Hospital in Miami Beach, Florida, to the late parents of Edgar Roulhac Sr. (Father) and Marie Steele Roulhac Black (Mother), and raised by his late stepfather King David Black (des.).
Jerome received his education through Miami Dade Public School, graduating from Miami Northwestern Senior High School in 1974. He was drafted into the United States Army on February 26, 1977 . Jerome was employed at the Veterans Administration Hospital until his date of employment ended on 9/22/2016.
Jerome is survived by his only daughter, Donya Imani Roulhac; granddaughters Da’Mayia, Di Mani, Di Andrea, and Di Shanti, and grandson Edwine Jr.; Great-grands Taylor, D’ Ari, and Da’Nae; Two siblings Belinda Roulhac Hampton (Willie) and Shirley Ann Roulhac-Lumpkin (Terri- deceased); brother Edgar Roulhac Jr. (deceased); step-brother Ronald Black, nieces, Tashara Hampton James (Rodrick), Emelda Wallace; nephews, La Darius Hampton, Anthony Wallace, Edgar Roulhac Sr. (Janet), Ronald Roulhac, great-nephews, La Darius J. Hampton-Cooper, Edgar Roulhac, Ronald Roulhac; great-nieces, Shanika Roulhac, Pleasure Roulhac; and a host of relatives and friends.
