Obituary
Jharise Jones-Sullivan was a proud father, a family man, and a beacon of love and laughter throughout his life. He was born on January 3, 1990, to the late Tylvia Jones and Johnnie Sullivan in Miami. From his earliest days, he was nurtured in the church’s embrace, which provided a foundation of family and faith.
Jharise matriculated through the Miami-Dade County Public School System and completed his studies at the storied Miami Northwestern Senior High School. After graduation, he embarked on a fulfilling career journey as a field technician and construction worker, showcasing dedication and skill.
Jharise was blessed abundantly with the gift of fatherhood, treasuring his three sons, Jharise, Jeremiah, and Jordan. He worked hard and resolved to make a better life for his sons. Comfortable in the kitchen and known for sharing jokes, Jharise had a knack for cooking, bringing people together, and having a great sense of humor. His jokes would brighten the darkest of days, and his cooking created lasting memories of joy and fellowship.
Jharise leaves a legacy of love and laughter, touching the lives of all who knew him. His family, friends, and community will forever cherish his memory.
As we bid farewell to Jharise, we reflect on the beauty of his life and the countless lives he touched. Though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit will continue to shine brightly in our hearts, guiding us with love and light.
In addition to his loving sons, Jharise leaves: his wife, Tanisha Oquendo; cherished sister, Jekylle; beloved siblings, Lashawn Sullivan, Valeshelia (Lisa) Flanders (Darrell), Sandreen Foster (Alton), Johnny Sullivan, Waldrick Sullivan, and Javarald Sullivan.
Rest peacefully, dear Jharise. Your journey on Earth may have ended, but your legacy of love will endure for eternity.
