Obituary
Jimmie Lee Davis was born to the late Isscc and Donnie Lee Davis on December 10, 1938, in Albany, Georgia. Jimmie in his young adult life attended school in Albany, Georgia. Jimmy later moved to Sanford, where he met and married Roberta. In there union, one child was born, Jimmie Davis, Jr. Jimmie later moved to Miami and became an entrepreneur working with his hands. He developed a skill of laying concrete and became a masonry, paving driveways and sidewalks. Loving his talent, he served himself by running and operating his own business for many years. Jimmy later became a father to his only daughter, Leanne Davis. Jimmie loved dressing and wearing the latest Cosell glasses, driving in his truck, and driving motorcycles, which he loved dearly. He enjoyed family and coming to Big Ma’s house, laughing and making jokes. Jimmie later met and married Ruby Neil Burse. They became partners for life and he helped raise her children and loved them as his own. Jimie was a man that loved people. Jimmie was a man that made sure his dressing was on point. He loved serving families by laying concrete driveways and sidewalks in homes and in businesses. He loved people, saying that they loved the work he did. It brought him great joy. Jimmie retired after a long time of providing service to people and while his health was failing, he never lost his zeal to dress and be sharp.
Jimmie leaves to mourn: a life partner, Ruby Neil Burns; one son, Jimmie, Jr. (Margie); daughter, Leanne (Harro); two sisters, Ruby Neil/Ernest and Mandy Davis; three granddaughters, Margeric, Lasia, and Reny; special nephew, who took care of him until his demise, Claudel Davis; and a host of other relatives and friends.
