Obituary
Jimmy was born on Sunday, July 15, 1962, in Bogalusa, Louisiana. The fourth child of twelve children born to his parents, Jacob, and Rose Hall. Shortly after his birth, Jimmy moved with his family to Homestead, Florida where he received his primary education in the Miami-Dade County Public School System. Attending A.L. Lewis Elementary, Neva King Cooper Middle School and South Dade where he was a member of the Marching Band. Jimmy was an ambitious student, attending summer school throughout high school to satisfy the requirements needed to graduate with his High School diploma at the age of 16.
Shortly after graduation, he enlisted with the Armed Services. Upon completion of his military career, Jimmy moved around making his home in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and finally settling down in Miami, Florida. Jimmy worked as a laborer and was known for his work ethic. He was a talented sketch artist and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and cooking.
Jimmy received his Christian education at New Mount Zion Baptist Church in Florida City as a child and later in life he attended the Star of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church.
Jimmy marched to the beat of his own drum, which created its own set of challenges. He had his fair share of struggles and challenges, but he made the most of it, learning to persevere despite his circumstances. Our prayer is that the peace of God was with him when he transitioned into eternity and that we will see him again... on the other side.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob Hall and Rose Hall, and siblings, Alexander Bolton, Jennifer Hall, and Henry Hall. He is survived by his siblings, James Weary, Jelean Weary, Geraldine Gamboa (Mario), Jacob Hall (Susen), Rose Hall, John Hall, Jerome Hall (Charisha), and Justina Hall (Edward); special friend, Anna Wilson (a.k.a. Stacy); and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
