Obituary

Johnny was born in Waycross, Georgia, on October 31, 1942, where he attended school. He relocated to Miami, Florida. He married Geneva Durden, who preceded him in death. He retired from MNP Construction in 2004.
He leaves behind his five children, two of whom preceded him in death, Sylvia Griffin and Johnny Penn. He leaves behind Michael Durden, Johnny Durden, Jr., Francesca Durden, Jamina Durden, and Robert Dukes; he also leaves behind Linda Lowery; sixteen grandkids and thirteen great-grands; first cousin, Deloris Gray; and friends.
