Obituary
Johnny Williams, Jr. was born December 16, 1935 to parents, Johnny Williams, Sr. and Wylene Green Williams, in Morgan ,Georgia.
Johnny worked for Monnah Park Block Concrete Company in Medley, Florida, when he moved to live in Miami until he retired.
On December 27, 2023, Johnny transitioned to his eternal home. Johnny was preceded in death by his sister, Louise Dent; daughter, Rossie “Doll” Johnson; and daughter in-law, Mattie Williams.
Johnny leaves to cherish his memories: devoted wife of 69 years, Margaret Ree Williams; daughter, Jean Hanniford (Enrique); son, Charlie Williams (Mattie deceased); daughter, Joyce Ann Cobley; and son, Johnnie Williams, Sr. (Kateva); brothers, Jessie “Red” Williams (Gloria), and Franklyn “Buddy” Williams (Mary); sisters, Octavia Wayman (Joseph, deceased), and Willie Vera Walker; grandchildren, Lorenzo Hargrett, Jonathan Williams (Latisha), Mareeta “Tadpole” Williams (Riisa), Crystal Williams (Daniel), Johnnie Williams, Jr. (Myra), and Matthew Johnson; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
