Obituary
Kai’lani Denise Bell was born on October 6, 2024, to Michael L. Bell, Jr., and Kayla S. Johnson in Miami, Florida.
Kai’lani was always known for always being with her mom and sticking out that tongue and funny facial expression. Tiny in stature, but personality bubbly and a strong attitude at times, Kai’lani was deeply cherish by her family, most recently being the youngest of a large Bahamian-blooded family. Affectionately known by her mom as Tudda, she was sweet one minute, spicy the next, and lit up every room.
On March 21, 2026, Kai’lani transitioned and was welcomed into eternity by her grandfather, Clifford Johnson, Sr.; greatgreat-grandparents, Margaret and Harmon Williams; and uncle, Rodney Hinds.
Kai’lani leaves to cherihs her memory: father, Michael L. Bell, Jr., and loving mother, Kayla S. Johnson; grandparents, Shavanty and Davon Young, Erica Williams, and Dudly Pierre; great-great-grandfather, Anthony Lanier; greatgrandparents, Carl and Chaikta Johnson, Victoria Johnson, and John Styles; great-uncles, Isaiah Wilson, Joseph Pinkmeg, Trey Whitehead, and Abdul Muhammad; great-aunts, Shaveble Williams, Mercedes Jones, Nomi Lynn, Fahima, Khadya, and Karima Muhammad; uncles, Clifford Johnson, Jr., Demonta Jones, Daron and Davion Young, and Claude and Roderick Brown; aunts, Kiara King, Dwayne Alexander, Tiffany Blackman, Kaitlyn Spiller, Deja, Da’nai, and Diya Young; dedicated godmother, Takia Williams; four Titis, Zamarie Bridges, Juda Worley, Warnisha Hall, and Keshayvia Sutherland; and special friend, Kamara Thomas.
