Obituary
Laqonia Tenner was the proud daughter born to the late Kimberly Tenner and Leslie Lee, Sr., on January 15, 1978.
Laqoina attend Miami-Dade County public schools. Laqonia was a member of JROTC and a graduate of Miami Carol City Senior High Class of 1996. She was a proud chief alumnus. She was a Cosmetology Master who owned her own salon. Laqonia held various employment; she was a corrections officer for quite some time.
Most of all, Laqonia was about family; she loved her family, and they loved her. As a mom, Laquonia enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, creating memories that they can revisit. Laqonia also enjoyed spending time with her grandmother, with whom she shared many joyous moments. Laqonia was a loving, kindhearted individual that touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Laqonia was the true definition of a ride or die friend.
On Saturday, November 2, 2024, God saw his daughter Laqonia getting weary and took her by the hand to end her pain and suffering and said, “My child, job well done”.
Laqonia Tenner is survived by her five children, Keawon Tenner, Nay’Qoun Jones, and daughters, Kylee, Isis, and Aiyanna Ramos; grandchildren, Ava Tenner, Sarayaa Jones, Naomi Jones, and Keawon Tenner, Jr.; brothers, Quinton Tenner and Leslie Lee, Jr.; grandmother, Ruth Tenner; loving aunts, Cyrstal Lee, Brenda Lonn, and Jeanette Waymon; lifetime partner, Robert Ramos; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
