Obituary
A Time to Be Born
In Miami, Florida, on Wednesday, November 6, 1963, a beautiful, bouncing baby girl was born to the late Richard and Rhoda Lowe, who preceded her in death. She was lovingly named Lisa Frances Lowe, and from the very beginning, her life reflected warmth, purpose, and a deep capacity for love.
A Time to Learn
Lisa, affectionately known as “Smiley” to her close friends and loved ones, attended Bunche Park Elementary School, North Dade Junior High School, and North Miami Beach Senior High School. Her radiant smile and gentle spirit earned her the love and respect of many, and she formed lifelong connections wherever she went.
Following high school, Lisa continued her education at Miami-Dade Community College, where she earned her certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). This accomplishment marked the beginning of a career that reflected her natural compassion and heart for service.
A Time to Work
For over 35 years, Lisa faithfully worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, serving with various healthcare companies throughout her career. She genuinely loved what she did and found fulfillment in caring for individuals with varying ailments. Lisa took pride in nurturing others back to health, providing comfort, dignity, and compassion to everyone placed in her care. Her work was not just a profession—it was a calling and a reflection of who she was at her core.
A Time to Die
On Friday, February 6, 2026, the Lord gently called Lisa Frances Lowe home. Though her passing leaves a profound void, her legacy of love, service, and unwavering strength will forever remain.
Lisa leaves to cherish her precious memory her sons, Dr. Russell Kimpson, Jr. and Lee L. Bouie, Jr.; her stepson, Kedrick J. Hall; her sister, Deborah Thompkins; her nephews, Derrick Jackson, Anthony J. Davis (Zamari Davis), David Jones, and Royce Thompson; her nieces, Lakita Thompson, Heaven Thompson, and Ranylah Thompson; her first cousins, Harriet Godbolt (Lavern Godbolt), Cassandra Perry, and ShaunnaRay Perry; her Bahamian relatives; and a host of sorrowing family members, friends, and loved ones.
