Obituary
On October 25, 1946, Lorraine Forbes Seymour was born in Miami, Florida, to Irene Forbes and Leon Forbes, and attended Booker T. Washington High School.Lorraine was well loved by her family and friends. While Lorraine’s family and friends grieve her loss, they will remember her as a hard worker and someone who filled the room with good energy and her infectious smile. We also remember Lorraine’s love for looking and dressing nicely. Lorraine proved her love by being kind and soft-spoken to everyone. Most younger people she encountered called her auntie or grandma. She truly showed her love to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Lorraine extended her love by being a foster mother. Showing her love and kindness to all is what made her an angel on earth. As a member of His Extended Hands ministry, she became an Elder under the leadership of Pastor Desmond Rivers. While serving her on earth as a Christian, she displayed Christ-like ways. Lorraine was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Forbes, father, Leon Forbes, son, John Seymour and brother, Larry Forbes. Lorraine is survived by: her sons, Kenenth and Keith; five grandchildren, Keith Jr., Javon, Kendrella, Kenneshia and Siara; twelve great-grandchildren; one nephew, Mitchell Forbes; and a host of other family members and friends.
