Obituary
Mable Louise Holifield was born on May 30, 1948, to Mr. Arthur and Carrie Ward in Newbern Alabama. Mable attended Lincoln High School in Marion, Alabama. She graduated from Robert C. Hatch High School in 1966. She was an active member of Greenleaf Baptist Church.
After graduation, she met and married the late Dorsey Holifield. They moved to Miami, Florida where she began working as a dry cleaner. Later, as a daycare teacher and ended her profession as a Dietary Aide at Hialeah Nursing Home until her retirement in 2002.
On March 19, 2024, the Lord called Mable home to rest. Mable was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, several siblings and one grandchild, Kenneth Kilpatrick II.
Mable leaves to cherish her memories her children, Lisa Holifield, Dwight Holifield, Natasha Holifield, and Tamla Holifeild; sisters, Cathy McLaughlin, Joanna Evans (Rufus); and grandchildren, Latavia Page, Ta’Tiana Washington, DeAndre Holifield, and Antwun Fleming; great-grandchildren, Julieus Page, Zedrick Arrington; as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
