Obituary

Michael Eugene Stevens was born to the late Ernest and Mattie Stevens on May 13, 1966, in Opa Locka, Florida.

He received his education in the Dade County Public School System. He attended Nathan B. Young Elementary School, Westview Jr. High School and North Miami Sr. High School where he received his high school diploma.

He attended New Macedonia Baptist Church from childhood where he committed his life to Christ as a youth. At an early age, he began singing with the spirit of life gospel choir; he later went on sing with the Florida Fellowship Choir. Michael would later become a member of Greater Harvest Baptist Church where he became the director of music. Michael loved to sing, and if you knew Michael you knew if you had a choir, she would sing.

Preceding him in death were his beloved parents, Ernest and Mattie Stevens; favorite cousin, Diane Stevens; Auntie Gladys Stevens, Irene Stevens (sergeant mother); and his beloved sister, Bertha Mae Stevens.

He leaves behind to mourn his great memories, his daughter, Taybrianna stevens, sister and best friend Cynthia Young (Rick); brothers, Ernest Stevens, Jr., and Isaac  Stevens (Cynthia), Dwight Stevens, and Bobby Stevens.

Michael also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
