Obituary
Mrs. Lille Mae Stanley was born on April 22, 1936, in Dublin, Lauren County, Georgia. She was the third child of the late Mr. Robert and Mrs. Mozelle Tobridge.
Lillie’s early education took place in Lauren County of Dubling, Georgia. Later, she attended the Miami Dade County Cafeteria Managerial Program where she earned her accreditation from Miami Dade College in leadership and management.
Lillie would go on to be a long-tenured employee for Miami Dade County for over 30 yeras. During her stint with the school board, she served as a cafeteria manager for Gratigny Elementary School from 1979 to 2006.
Lillie retired on June 19, 2006, the from Miami Dade County public schools. She was honored with a certificate of appreciation from Dr. Rudolph F. Crew, superintendent of schools and Mr. Agustin J. Barrera, school board chairperson.
On July 11, 1953, Lillie joined in holy matrimony with Odell (Buck) Stanley, and they enjoyed 42 years of marriage together.
She leaves to mourn: her daughter, Tanjia Stanley; son, Anthony Stanley; daughter-in-law, Andra Stanley; grandsons, Anttroy Stanley, Antonio Williams, Brandon Stanley, and Anthony Stanley, Jr.; granddaughters, Octavia Williams, Lanette Williams, and Pricilla Stanley; loving friend, Odes Hamilton; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
