Obituary
Nathaniel “Boo Boo” Evans, born March 11, 1957, in Miami, Florida, peacefully departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and strength. Raised in the heart of Liberty City’s historic Pork-N-Bean Projects, Nathaniel grew up surrounded by a vibrant community and a close-knit family who shaped the man he became.
He was the beloved son of Reva Kinney, who instilled in him the values of hard work, humility, and compassion. Nathaniel proudly graduated from Miami Northwestern Senior High School, Class of 1975, where he built lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories.
Nathaniel went on to build a dedicated career with Piccadilly Restaurant, from which he later retired after many years of service. Colleagues and customers alike remember his warm spirit, friendly smile, and unwavering work ethic.
To know “Boo Boo” was to know joy. He loved his family deeply, cherished every moment spent with them, and had a natural gift for bringing people together. His humor, wisdom, and presence will be missed by all who were blessed to share in his life.
Nathaniel leaves to cherish his memory: his loving siblings, Debra Brown, Byron Williams, Darrell Williams, and Sheila Adell.
He was a proud uncle to a host of nieces and nephews who adored him: Fetisha Williams, Christian Byron Williams, Viola Williams, Whitney Adell, Trey Adell, Tory Brown, Eric Brown, Derrick Brown, and Sissy Brown.
He is also survived by his devoted aunt and uncle: Bernice Gordon and Lee Kellom, along with a large circle of cousins, extended family, and lifelong friends, all of whom will forever hold his memory close.
Though his earthly journey has ended, Nathaniel “Boo Boo” Evans’ legacy of love, resilience, and community will live on endlessly in the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace.
