Obituary
Patricia Ann Phillips Johnson was born on July 8, 1939, in Miami, Florida to Learlean Minnis and Ivin Phillips. She was the first of eight children.
Patricia attended the public schools of Miami-Dade County and completed her education at Booker T. Washington High School, graduating in the class of 1958.
Patricia met the love of her life, Hershel Johnson, Sr., and they were married on December 1, 1959. Hershel preceded her in death in 2018. Their union of marriage lasted 59 years. From this union, four children were born.
At Myrtle Grove Presbyterian Church, Patricia dedicated her service as an usher and deacon. She provided benevolent service to the Presbyterian women as well as Myrtle Grove church members, including the hospitality committee.
Patricia is preceded in death with her parents Learlean Minnis and Ivin Phillips, sisters, Sandrs Minnis and Brenda Minnis.
Patricia leaves her legacy within her family: sons, Hershel Jr. (Almedra), Patrick (Kim), and Rodrick (Charlynn); devoted daughter, Renee (Milton); seven grandchildren, Hershell III, Ashley, Roddra, Sean, Kayla, Brenee, and Kamara; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Deanna Minnis, and Ellen Minnis; three brothers, Frank Minnis, Jr., Leroy Minnis, and Edward Minnis; godson, Derrick Days; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
