Obituary

A TIME TO BE BORN:
Purman Levi Thames was born December 8, 1962, in Miami, Florida to the late Olden David Thames and Artie Louise Fox. He was the fourth of six children.

A TIME TO PLANT:
At an early age, Purman became a member at Bethel Apostolic Temple under the leadership of Pastor Carol Nash-Lester.  Recently, he rededicated his life to Christ. He loved cars, riding on his motorcycle, playing his music loud for everyone to hear and installing sound systems in cars. He also attended American Senior High School.

A TIME TO LOVE
Purman was a loving and dedicated father to his one and only child, a son and a proud and loving grandfather affectionately known as Papa to three beautiful granddaughters. He was preceded in death by four siblings, Stephanie, Olden Sr., Harold and Melody.

A TIME TO FLY
On Saturday, December 9, at 6:06pm., the death angel relieved him from suffering and escorted him to meet our Heavenly Father face to face. In his own words….” I am ready to be with mama!”

A TIME TO MOURN
He leaves to cherish fond memories: loving and devoted son, Eddrick McDonald of Miami, FL, and loving and devoted sister LaWanda (Thomas) White of Windermere, FL. Granddaughters, Diamond, Kylie and Winter. Goddaughters, Alysia Streeter and Londyn Lewis. Godson Taywan Parrish. Aunts, Estella Fox, Naomi Blair and Henrietta Ragin. Brother-in-law, Thomas E. White Jr. and Terry Jones Sr. and a very special, devoted and caring friend, ex-wife Lavonne Parrish. Nieces and nephews, Osvaldo, Tenecia (Clarence), Olden Jr. (Joana), Gregory, Terry Jr., Toyia, Jomel, Tatiana and Tia. Great nieces and nephews, Zarie, Donte, Zakhari, Sofia, and Savanna; and a host of cousins, other loving relatives and special friends.
