Obituary

Richard Butler, was born September 05, 1932 in Dublin Georgia. He was the third child born to his parents the Late David and the Late Leana Mitchell Butler (of which four proceeded him in death: d Christine Butler, Ruth Butler, Ellis Butler, Mary Stanley). Stepson James Tranas Donnell Walker proceeded him in death. 
 
RICHARD RECEIVED HIS EDUCATION IN LAURENS COUNTY.
 
RICHARD received the LORD at a very early age at Montford Grove Baptist Church in Dublin, Georgia
 
After moving to Miami, He moved his membership to the Holy Redeemer Church Of GOD In CHRIST (under the Leadership of the Late Elder Richard Walker, Sr.). Then to New Shiloh M.B. Church under the Leadership of Pastor Dr. D. L. Powell until he retired and then under Pastor Alphonso Jackson, Jr. where he Served on Usher Board Ministry #3.
 
Everyone who knew RICHARD knew he loved the Dolphins, playing Bingo, going to the Gym and dancing.
 
RICHARD made His transition from Time to Eternity on October 23, 2024. 
 
RICHARD leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of 55 years Frances Butler, children born to this union: two daughters, Josephine Butler (deceased) and Pamela Butler of Miami, FL; Five grandchildren: Shakeshia (Dr. Ricardo) Reid of Port St. Lucie, FL, Tamekia Butler-Hubert of Port St. Lucie, FL, Kenya (Oludayo) Adelekan of DeLand, FL, Ashley (Neal) Reid of Daytona Beach, FL, Kevin Siplin of Miami, FL; Eight (8) great-grandchildren; one sister, Rev. Lucinda O’Neal of Atlanta, Ga.
 
CHILDREN FROM PREVIOUS MARRIAGE:
Four daughters: Diane (Larry) Moorman, Faye Walden, Leola (Pastor Frank) O’Neal, and Sylvia Lucas all of Dublin, Ga; one son: Frankie Lee Butler (Deceased), Seven (7) grandchildren; Five (5) great-grands.
