Obituary

Rose Mae Burns was born April 28, 1928, in Sylvester, Georgia. She received her education in Sylvester and Albany, Georgia, later she met and married Clifford Wilkerson Sr. and to this union four children were born, and they relocated to Miami, Florida.

Rose Mae worked in a clothing company for seventeen years and she was the only black person working there. Later she married John Henry Burns. Rose gave her heart to Jesus Christ and accepted him as her personal Savior and was Baptist and John Bible Baptist Church.

Rose is survived by her dear son Clifford Wilkerson Jr., daughter-in-law Hilda Wilkerson, grandchildren Diane Wilkerson, Yolanda Wilkerson, Patricia Wilkerson, Beverly McKenzie, Billy Lee Wilkerson Jr., Joshua Lamont Wilkerson, Tywan Wilkerson and Frederick Smalls, and host of great-great grandchildren, great nieces, great-nephews, cousin and dear friends.
