Obituary
Sister Carolyn Campbell was born on August 22nd, 1941 in Carterville, Georgia to the late Mr. and Mrs. Lewis and Catherine Campbell. She was the second child of three children born to this union. She acquires three more siblings from a second marriage by her mother.
Sister Campbell received her early education in Volusia County (Daytona Beach), Florida Public schools, and later moved to Miami, fl. Where she attended and graduated from booker T. Washington High School, after graduation she enrolled at Miami Dade Community College nursing school, then she changed her major to Business Management where she earned an associate of science degree. She was also certified in bookkeeping, accounting and medical secretary.
Carolyn was blessed with 2 loving children the late Dorothy Campbell and Arnold Murray
Carolyn career experience began at Jackson Memorial Hospital (J.M.H) and she served in the following departments, Food Service Nutritionist), Nursing Department as a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A), Finance Department as a Clerk, Secretary II, Posting Machine Operator, Account Clerk, Credit Rep., Financial Counselor, and Lead worker in Credit and Collection.
Carolyn was converted at an early age and joined Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and Crusaders for Christ in Daytona Beach, Florida, after moving to Miami, Fl. She joined Greater Israel Bethel Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of Elder P.D. Brantley, later Carolyn moved her membership the New Jerusalem Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of Elder Alfred V. Ward, she then moved her Membership to Mount Olive Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of Elder Frazier Arnold Jr. At Mount Olive she served as a member of the Mass Choir, Special Choir, Audit Committee, Church School Teacher, Trustee, DCD Committee and served for many years as the Financial Secretary.
Sis. Campbell worked while it was day, until her heath begin to fail.
Sis. Carolyn Campbell leave behind to cherish her memories her son Arnold Murray. 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren and 1 on the way. And host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends
